Different childcare possibilities exist both in France and in Switzerland according to the age of the child, the frequency of need for childcare, and the way the care is organized.

CERN offers certain solutions on its own premises and has an agreement with two crèches nearby.

*Compulsory schooling starts at the age of 4.  Any child entering obligatory schooling in Geneva must have turned 4 on or before the 31st July (1P)
