Q: I work with several men who regularly make sexually charged remarks about women.
The comments are often coarse, rude and belittling. I find their behaviour upsetting and demeaning, but am  afraid to speak out as I do not want to come over as a prude. What should I do about it?

A: You should try to address the matter with the men directly. But if you are afraid to speak out, you can also raise the matter with your hierarchy, the Human Resources Department, or the CERN Diversity Programme Leader or the Ombuds Office.
