CERN is a complex organisation, and a newcomer needs to assimilate many things to become familiar with the environment and be fully operational. The induction programme supports new recruits both with their integration at CERN and in the local area.

What the team does

Learning and Development organises CERN-wide sessions for new staff and fellows, while the hosting departments organise induction of new personnel in their department.

Type of training

Presentations by experts, followed by question and answer sessions.
