Career Transition Measures

The purpose of career transition measures is to enhance the prospects for continued employment of staff who hold a limited-duration contract

What the team does

Learning and Development organises two career guidance workshops in collaboration with external providers.

Type of training

  • Workshop 1: “Assessing and managing your career options” (personal reflection, career, motivations, CV);
  • Workshop 2: “Stepping out… moving forward” (analysis of options for the future, understanding the external job market, extending one’s network, practising different interview scenarios);

In addition, one internal training course selected from the CERN training catalogue, or alternatively, granting of paid leave for attending a course outside the CERN training catalogue.
