Academic Training

CERN Academic Training lectures are open to all members of CERN personnel (in particular staff members and fellows, associates, students, users, project associates and apprentices) free of charge.

Pre-course registration is not required, individual attendance is not recorded and certificates can be given to the attendees on demand. The conditions required are the following:

  • that the participant has to declare that he or she will need such a certificate BEFORE the lecture series begins;
  • that the student has to ‘sign in’ that he or she is present in the room at each lecture with the speaker (typically at the start of the lecture)
